The scholars did remarkably well and their contributions, singing and recitations, were very much enjoyed. The afternoon programme included recitations by Jean and John Francis, Alan Partin, Aileen Wynter, Ann Cullen; dialogues by Joan Francis and Jean Colbourne, Alan, Brian and Audrey Partitt, Margaret Wynter and Denning, Marlene and Grahame Cullen. Jane Treasure and Angela Perkins, Hazel Partitt, Ann Cullen and Aileen Wynter sang "There is a Land of Love," and the little ones "Little Birds." Choruses by the choir and scholars were "Love and Praise," "True to Thy Design," "Children of the Master," and "Sailors are We." At the evening service the choir nicely rendered the anthems, "Peace and Joy Divine," and "Jesus the very thought of Thee," and the choruses were "Love and Praise," "Let the Sunshine in," "Hymn to the Shepherd," and "God is sending night."
